As the owner of Clearly Coastal, I work closely with our clients and trade suppliers to build professional relationships, set priorities, and clarify individual needs. I enjoy interpreting the taste and personal style of each of my clients. I have a design goal and that is what is best for you. Attention to detail is the most important factor in designing, and we offer a wide variety of resources from all over the world. Specializing in interiors that are timeless and that tap into your style and taste, I will sit down with you in the comfort and lighting of your space to discuss your needs, desires, and lifestyle.
I have a solid background in design projects such as healthcare, retail, restaurants, hotels, commercial projects, and assisted living; along with complete renovation projects. I work closely with builders on commercial projects to provide builder specifications. We offer contract blinds, paint, marble, and tile selections direct from the manufacturer to eliminate the middleman to keep prices low for you. I work with builders and homeowners to make selections on paint colors, lighting and plumbing fixtures, tile and carpet selections, cabinets, granite, and appliances.

The Process
In-Home Consultation
Cynthia will come to your home, and together, you will determine the scope of your project and establish a budget and schedule.
Floor Plans and Presentations
You will be provided with a detailed floor plan, along with suggestions on color, fabrics, and furnishings (often including your existing pieces).
Complete Installation
Everything from the delivery of new furniture to carefully installing drapery hardware, blinds, rugs, and finishing touches are completed.
Clearly Coastal’s interior design team offers complete home interiors with full service. We handle the entire process from design and specification to the total construction of a renovation or new home.
Phase One: Consultation & Presentation
Phase Two: Ordering & Production to Completed Installation
The 1st step in Phase One is the consultation, which takes place in your home or office. It consists of a question-and-answer session. During this phase, you tell us what you want to be done and we inquire about such things as color, fabric, furniture styles, and other preferences.
Furthermore, we take photographs of your space and its surroundings. Sometimes we will ask to see areas that we are not working on to help us create continuity.
Following the interview, our Clearly Coastal designer will spend time alone walking through your space taking notes of your possessions and personal items to determine how to use them in new ways to bring your room to life. During this time measurements and sketching will also take place.
During step two of phase one, the presentation process, detailed prices are given with design schemes. At this point, a deposit is required to proceed. Then it’s time to begin the ordering and production process.
Phase Two is when the Clearly Coastal’s staff begins construction of your fabulous draperies and window treatments. Fabrics, furniture, rugs, and accessories will be ordered. The final step is the installation. During this step, we ask that you give us this time alone in your space to be creative. This allows us to make your space so amazingly wonderful that you can’t wait to refer us to your friends and family.
